By combining Pilkington K Glass™ on Surface 4* of an IGU with Pilkington Optitherm™ S1 Plus ultra low-emissivity glass on Surface 2** a very low Ug-value of 0.9 W/m²K can be achieved.

Pilkington energiKare™ is the name given to our range of double and triple glazing used to improve the thermal efficiency of homes. It reduces the amount of heat lost through your windows and can also allow more heat energy from the sun in through the glass.

Pilkington energiKare ™ Advantage is twice as energy-efficient as standard double glazing as it uses advanced dual coatings to reduce heat loss through windows and allows more heat from the sun to enter the building – this effect is known as solar gain.
