What is Pilkington Activ Suncool™?

Pilkington Activ Suncool™ is a range of dual coated glass, with self-cleaning, solar control and thermal insulation performance. It has superior solar control properties, and is therefore suitable for both commercial and residential applications.

The annealed Pilkington Activ Suncool™ products within the range offer a comprehensive choice of light transmittance and solar gain levels. Performance data for each option is available in the Solar Control Range datasheet.

The latest products, Pilkington Activ Suncool™ 61/34 Pro T and Pilkington Activ Suncool™ 45/27 Pro T, offer additional safety and mechanical strength properties after toughening. They are sympathetic to the appearance of Pilkington Suncool™ 66/33 and Pilkington Suncool™ 50/25 respectively.
