What are the thickness tolerances for laminated glass?

Pilkington Optilam™ is manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 12543-2: Glass in building — Laminated glass and laminated safety glass - Part 2: Laminated safety glass and CE Marked in accordance with BS EN 14449: Glass in building — Laminated glass and laminated safety glass — Evaluation of conformity/Product standard.

BS EN ISO 12543-5: Glass in building - Laminated glass and laminated safety glass - Part 5: Dimensions and edge finishing specifies dimensions, limit deviations and edge finishes of laminated glass and laminated safety glass for use in building.  As an example for 8.8 mm Pilkington Optilam™, the following is based on clause 4.1.2.1 of BS EN ISO 12543-5, covering limit deviation on thickness of folio laminated products:

In accordance with BS EN ISO 12543-5, laminated glass of nominal 8.8 mm thickness is in tolerance if the measured thickness is between 8.3 and 9.3 mm.
