Thermal Insulation FAQs - pilkington.com

https://www.pilkington.com/en/global/knowledge-base/types-of-glass/energy-efficient-glass/thermal-insulation-faqs

The standard gas in insulating glass units is dry air. The space between the glass panes can be filled with other gases that have different properties that improve the thermal resistivity. Argon and krypton are the most likely alternatives. Krypton is beneficial if the space is limited.

Pilkington Optitherm™ Range

https://www.pilkington.com/en/global/products/product-categories/thermal-insulation/pilkington-optitherm-range

The Pilkington Optitherm™ Range are high performance, off-line coated low-e glass products specially developed for use in Insulating Glass Units (IGUs) to help with energy saving. They are optimised for thermal insulation having ultra low Ug values and are super neutral in colour.

Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear

In thicknesses above 6 mm, it can be used for a variety of commercial applications where superior strength, greater spans, reduced deflection, high daylight transmission and noise reduction are required. Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear can be toughened or laminated for impact safety and security.

Pilkington Eclipse Advantage™

Efficient glass will enable you to reduce energy costs, make your home more comfortable and reduce the carbon emissions which will damage the Earth's atmosphere. NSG Group have been at the forefront of development of glass products which enable this to be achieved.

Pilkington K Glass™ N

https://www.pilkington.com/en/global/products/product-categories/thermal-insulation/pilkington-k-glass-n

Pilkington K Glass™ N forms the inner pane of an energy-efficient IGU, such as Pilkington Insulight™ Therm. The coating reflects heat back into the room.

Solving the overheating problem - Pilkington
