Overview

Pilkington Suncool™ Pro T is a range of toughenable off-line coated solar control products glass. These products must be toughened before assembly in insulating glass unit.

After toughening, thermal performance, solar control and color appearance are identical to the corresponding annealed glass.

Pilkington Suncool™ Pro T range consists of high selective solar control glass products for solar control with high light transmission properties, low solar factor and low emissivity.

The excellent solar control properties of Pilkington Suncool™ range considerably limit the cooling demand and artificial lighting of buildings, while its insulating properties make it possible to reduce heat loss down to 1.0 W / m2K in a standard double glazing (6 -16-4) with argon filling.

The toughened safety glass may have to be used where there is a risk of thermal breakage, or in potentially dangerous applications, in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Pilkington Suncool™ Pro T range is available in thicknesses of 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm.

The Pilkington Suncool™ Pro T products are carried only by approved stockists who can cut and toughen from stock to enable shorter lead times.

The glass must be toughened before use such that it is in its final form and provides the same performance figures as the annealed and laminated variants. However, for larger projects we recommend that glass from the same batch is used.
