Peter Platz Spezialglas is powerglass^®. It is high tech laminated glass with integrated light emitting diodes made of NSG TEC™ glass and available in max dimensions of 1200 x 3200 mm with a thickness range of 4 and 6 mm.

The lighting concept has been successfully applied for the the Residenz Theatre foyer designed by the lighting designer Ingo Maurer. Panels with letters with red LEDs are made of electrically conductive glass NSG TEC™ creating the fascinating illumination effect.

The other solution combines NSG TEC™ electrically conductive glass and Cohda’s Power-Tap^® (P-Tap) technology and offers a whole new world of design and application possibilities.

Early applications include LED lit display cases, shelving units for museums or suspended lighting.
