Pilkington OptiView™ Protect is a laminated safety glass that performs under impact. Ordinary glass shatters into large pieces when impacted, while the laminated panes of Pilkington OptiView™ Protect resist penetration and are shatter-resistant.

Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW is an on-line coated, laminated, extra clear, anti-reflective glass based on a Pilkington Optiwhite™ low-iron substrate. Its anti-reflective pyrolytic coating offers high durability and the surface treatment requires little attention in both processing and maintenance of the glass once installed.

Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW provides a fundamental function: it reduces the percentage of light reflection of the glass to only 2%, ensuring a perfect view from any angle or direction as interference from the sun is kept to a minimum.
