NSG Group announced today the float furnace to produce TCO (transparent conductive oxide) coated glass for solar panels in Luckey, Ohio has started operation. Due to the pandemic, the inaugural furnace lighting ceremony was held virtually and streamed live over the company social media platforms.

Glass with 50% less embodied carbon launches in new milestone for decarbonising buildings. 10 October 2023. NSG Group has pioneered a new glass range with 50% less embodied carbon when compared to standard float glass* ‒ representing the lowest carbon product of its kind on the market.

The NSG Group has set a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 compared to 2018 levels and has been certified as a Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). As part of this, it aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

The NSG Group to Exhibit at Glasstec 2024 in Dusseldorf. The NSG Group, renowned for manufacturing glass under the Pilkington brand, will showcase its latest innovations at Glasstec 2024, the world’s leading glass industry trade fair, in Dusseldorf from 22-25 October 2024.

Company News. The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, announced an investment of $40 million in NSG UK Enterprises Limited (NSG UK), a member of the NSG Group, a long-standing IFC client.

The new plant is scheduled for commissioning in May 2023. The new project is first and foremost the Company's response to the ever-growing demand for glass in the domestic market. The needs are growing, and the orders include more and more extensive batches of insulating glass units.

22 May 2022. Pilkington Deutschland AG, a part of the NSG Group, has developed a new interactive PilkingtonAR mobile app, which is now available for download to mobile devices from Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Last year on the 24th of December Pilkington Netherlands received fantastic news that they achieved as first insulating glass units (IGU) manufacturer in the world and the first one within NSG Group the “Cradle to Cradle Silver” certification for almost all possible IGU combinations.
