PilkingtonAR - the app to experience glass!
With the PilkingtonAR app, architects, builders, planners and interested parties have completely new ways of designing a glass facade without much effort. In addition, there is information on glass products as well as the specification of technical values for double and triple insulating glass of the respective glass type.
AR stands for Augmented Reality and differs from Virtual Reality (VR) for example for AR content no special VR glasses are required to be able to view objects in three-dimensional representation. A mobile device (tablet or smartphone) is sufficient to experience AR content. AR combines digital information with physical reality. The AR user can place an object as a 3D hologram in his environment via his mobile device, view it from all sides and make interactive changes to the object.

With the PilkingtonAR app you can interactively plan and modify a building. You can use different types of glass in a facade and assess them visually. In addition, it is even possible to simulate different lighting conditions with a stepless daylight regulator.
