Rising from the quayside of Midtermolen to the north of Copenhagen, the headquarters of Danish financial services company ALM Brand looks every inch a new build. In actuality, the building was constructed in 1994, undergoing a recent renovation with Pilkington Planar™ at the heart of the project, used in combination with the most modern of technologies.

Pilkington noise-control glass has been revealed as the secret behind a good night’s sleep for customers of the new, award-winning, Sleeperz Hotel in the heart of Newcastle. And, while the noise-reduction performance helps ensure guests sleep easy in the 98-bedroom hotel, it also plays a key role in creating a stunning visual impact for the glass-fronted building.

Zoo visitors often complain about reflections on enclosure windows, which make it difficult to see the animals. Visitors to Cologne Zoo will now have a particularly good view of the geckos without any annoying reflections – thanks to the new Pilkington OptiView™.

Pilkington Planar™ has been specified in a major redevelopment of Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The project included the replacement of the Pavilion Stand, central offices, as well as the conference, banqueting and media facilities.

Pilkington Optiwhite™ has been specified in a breathtaking residential extension in Chelsea. Installed in a bespoke staircase, complete with a colour-changing LED lighting system, the glass provides a seamless transition between the house levels. Pilkington Optiwhite™ was also installed across the property in walls, windows and balustrades
