The geodesic and bioclimatic greenhouse at the Saline Royale d’Arc et Senans in France has been recognised with two prestigious sustainable development awards from two leading French organisations.

The Green Solutions Awards 2024–2025 People’s Choice Award in the Infrastructure category and the Geste d'Or Award 2023 in the Architecture and Landscapes category.

This remarkable project features a 'glass coat' combining Pilkington Mirai™ and Pilkington K Glass™. With 52% lower embodied carbon, Pilkington Mirai™ played a key role in making this greenhouse a model of sustainability - without compromising performance or aesthetics.

The greenhouse has also been named the winner of the 2025 Eiffel Prize for Architecture (France) Favorite Award, which recognises outstanding architectural achievements designed entirely or partly with steel that are both meaningful and innovative.
