The Pharos office building in Hoofddorp has undergone a major renovation where health, sustainability and innovation are paramount. Pilkington Nederland have supplied a total of 1,350 m² insulating glass units for an innovative Smartskin façade.

The award ceremony on September 16 will be broadcast live. The members of Bouwend Nederland Vakgroep GLAS will choose the winner of the Glass Award from the five nominated projects. In addition to the Glass Award, the Innovation Award and the Incentive Award will also be presented.

The other nominees for the Glass Award are:

• The Looking Glass in Amsterdam, submitted by Octatube
• St. Nicholas Church in Denekamp, submitted by Versteeg – Visible in glass
• Depot Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, submitted by ABT
• Bicycle shed KJ Plein in The Hague, submitted by Glasdesign
