The Highest Quality

Structural glass façades depend on the quality of the glass for their performance and aesthetic appearance. To ensure the highest quality possible, all glass supplied for Pilkington Planar™ systems is made by Pilkington.

The exterior glass used in all Pilkington Planar™ systems is normally 10, 12, 15 or 19 mm thick Pilkington Optifloat™ THS heat soaked toughened glass. We will supply only heat soak toughened glass for the toughened glass components of Pilkington Planar™ structural applications. The shape and flatness of Pilkington Planar™ glass is subject to the strictest of controls with bow of 1mm per meter and rollerwave of 0.02 mm typically available across all product ranges.
