Developed from the Pilkington Wall Patch Plate System, the Pilkington Planar™ concept has been continuously improved since Pilkington Architectural made the bold move to support glass façade panels from nothing more than a countersunk hole and a discrete stainless steel fitting. While its appearance is highly contemporary, Pilkington Planar™ has a proven track record dating back to 1982 - and it has passed the test ever since.

The trade name Pilkington Planar™ has become the generic name for bolted glass systems in the market place in which the external surface of the glazing is totally flush and uninterrupted.
