Special Solutions

In spite of the extensive choice of glass types and systems available, transparent structural fire protection often leads to requirements that are not available off the shelf and highly specific solutions need to be found. NSG Group assists to develop such special solutions in cooperation with system suppliers and provides extensive support from the development and trial phase through to the necessary procedures involved in obtaining approval from the authorities and independent test laboratories.

Due to popular demand a number off solutions which started of as special solutions are now generally approved, thus eliminating the need to obtain individual approval in each single case. Special solutions that can be implemented today as extensions of existing system approvals include for example fire-resistant roof glazing, fire-resistant glazing with internal blinds, fire-resistant glass in structural glazing look alike glazing as well as sliding doors with fire protection.
