Reducing the risk of accidents and protecting against a deliberate attack is a vital task installers must undertake when specifying glass. From security to fire resistance, glass can be used to protect a building’s occupants while also allowing the creation of bold and attractive designs.

A new mural has been unveiled at Saski Park in Sandomierz, Poland. Its colours and graphics allude to ecology, but aesthetics is not its greatest asset. The mural was painted with photocatalytic paints, that neutralize harmful components of exhaust fumes and smog. This initiative is the result of cooperation between NSG Group, the City Hall and the Municipal and Housing Enterprise in Sandomierz.

NSG Group introducerer en ny serie af glas med et 50% lavere indhold af indlejret kuldioxid sammenlignet med standard floatglas*, der giver et glasprodukt med det laveste CO2-aftryk på markedet.

The title might be a slight giveaway, but it’s true – glass really can have a great impact on health and well-being.
