Pilkington SunShade™ Silver


Pilkington SunShade™ Silver is a medium solar control performance off-line coated glass, with low light transmittance and high light reflectance.

It offers the optimum solution for controlling intense sunlight and solar glare, which can be common problems for both commercial and residential buildings in hot and sunny climates.

Applications

It is ideal for use in commercial façades as well as residential applications in hot climates with intense solar glare and sunlight. Pilkington SunShade™ Silver does not have a low-emissivity coating but can be combined with a low-emissivity glass in an Insulating Glass Unit for additional thermal insulation.

 Pilkington Spectrum

Pilkington Spectrum è un programma di calcolo in linea, gratuito, che consente di comporre vetrate isolanti con prodotti Pilkington e di calcolarne le prestazioni luminose ed energetiche. Che si tratti di vetrate semplici, vetrate isolanti (doppie, triple o quadruple), doppia pelle oppure doppie finestre, Pilkington Spectrum è in grado di fornire le seguenti informazioni:

  • Proprietà luminose ed energetiche (trasmissione, riflessione, assorbimento, fattore solare, ecc) calcolate secondo la norma UNI EN 410;
  • Trasmittanza termica Ug calcolata al centro della lastra secondo la norma UNI EN 673;
  • Valori di isolamento acustico misurati secondo la UNI EN ISO 140-3 (ove disponibili) o valori generalmente accettati secondo la UNI EN 12758;
  • Trasmissione UV e indice di resa colore (Ra) secondo la norma UNI EN 410;
  • Altre caratteristiche (ad esempio: sicurezza d'impiego, resistenza agli attacchi manuali, resistenza al fuoco e resistenza ai differenziali di temperatura).
