Pilkington Pyroclear® is a clear, high-performance monolithic fire-resistant and safety glass designed to provide basic integrity performance. Suitable for internal and external applications, it offers up to 60 minutes of fire resistance and is compatible with steel and aluminium systems.

Pilkington has developed a technique for predicting the thermal safety of glazed installations subjected to solar radiation. An assessment can be undertaken using the Pilkington Thermal Stress online calculator available via MyPilkington.

Since 1 st July 2013, a Declaration of Performance (DoP) has been made available for each Pilkington product covered by a hEN in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). The DoP can be downloaded from ‘Product and CE Marking Information’.
