New mural in Sandomierz will clean the air

A new mural has been unveiled at Saski Park in Sandomierz, Poland. Its colours and graphics allude to ecology, but aesthetics is not its greatest asset. The mural was painted with photocatalytic paints, that neutralize harmful components of exhaust fumes and smog. Pilkington UK sikrer fremtidens produksjon av valset glass i Storbritannia med store investeringer i St. Helens. Prosjektet er  et statlig finansiert prosjekt. Pilkington UK skal flytte produksjonen fra Watson Street til anlegget i Greengate, Investeringen består i at det nå skal benyttes en ovn med større kapasitet istedet for to ovner til produksjon av glass. Dette vil spare miljøet for 15000 tonn klordioxid hvert år.
