We offer a wide range of fire-resistant glass options with varying levels of protection to suit your needs. Protection levels are measured in defined time periods (30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes) and in terms of either integrity and insulation or integrity only, as designated by the European Standards.

Pilkington energiKare™ insulating glass units will reduce your home’s CO 2 output, making your carbon footprint smaller. In a gas-heated semi-detached house, you could save 0.72 Tonnes of CO 2 per year by switching from single glazing in timber to Pilkington energiKare™ in a PVC-U frame.

A Pilkington energiKare™ unit reduces the amount of heat lost through your windows while also allowing more heat/energy from the sun through the glass. This so-called passive solar gain provides additional energy free of charge.
