Applications


Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear can be used in wide variety of applications, representing a functional and stylish alternative to solid building materials. When used in the exterior and interior of buildings it brings light and space to surroundings in the home or office.

In thicknesses above 6 mm, it can be used for a variety of commercial applications where superior strength, greater spans, reduced deflection, high daylight transmission and noise reduction are required. Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear can be toughened or laminated for impact safety and security.

O Pilkington Spectrum é um modelo de desempenho de vidros baseado em Windows que permite calcular, de forma rápida e eficiente, as principais propriedades de unidades de vidro isolante (UVI), sem a necessidade de fabricá-las e realizar medições. O Pilkington Spectrum pode ser utilizado para fornecer as seguintes informações:

  • Propriedades ópticas e solares (transmitância, refletância, absortância, fator solar g, entre outras).
  • Valor Ug do vidro central.
  • Valores de isolamento acústico.
  • Transmitância ultravioleta (UV) e índice de reprodução de cor (Ra).
  • Outras propriedades (por exemplo, resistência ao impacto de corpo pendular, resistência ao fogo, resistência a ataques manuais, entre outras).
