Green Resources

In every region of the world in which we operate, the need to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions has never been as important as it is today. Buildings account for almost 50 percent of the energy consumed in developed countries. People, companies and communities are searching for better way to improve energy efficiency. LEED Logo

Pilkington North America has shown its commitment to energy conservation in building design and construction by partnering with the US Green Building Council to support the LEED®, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System™.

The LEED® Green Building Rating System provides a set of standards for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED® was developed to define “green building” by establishing a common standard of measurement and recognize environmental leadership in the building industry through a certification process of buildings on a point-system for specific building projects.
