From 15 to 17 November, Pilkington Italia will exhibit at MADE EXPO 2023, the trade fair in Milan (Fiera Milano Rho), Italy, dedicated to construction and building envelope. The company will present its products at stand no L19 in Hall 3P.
This year the MADE EXPO will concentrate on Innovation and Sustainability, presenting the most advanced solutions to lead the world of construction into the future.
Pilkington Italia will be present in the part of the fair dedicated to the building envelope, which will focus on the display of windows and door frames, and on applications for building exteriors.
The company will showcase Pilkington Suncool™, a range of high-performance solar control glass. The range combines high light transmittance, low, medium, or high light reflectance, and outstanding thermal insulation, resulting from low-emissivity coating.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to get familiar with the HeatComfort solution powered by NSG TEC™. HeatComfort is a range of products using The NSG Group technology of electrically conductive coatings to redefine the concept of comfort. By applying a voltage to the NSG TEC™ coating, the glass heats up, so when incorporated into an insulating glass unit, the heat flow can be directed into the living space.
Finally, the company will present its latest innovation – the new low-carbon glass Pilkington Mirai™. The glass offers a market-leading 50% less CO2e vs our standard glass, achieved by using a combination of alternative fuel, high recycled glass content, and green electricity sources. The Pilkington Mirai™ was developed to mark the start of the next generation of low-carbon glass products to help meet stricter sustainability requirements in the built environment.
