Hosted at the London Excel, a select few of the Pilkington UK commercial team will present Pilkington Mirai™, their new low carbon architectural glass with 52% less embodied carbon vs their standard product*. Visitors will get the chance to get up-close and personal with the product, and the team will be engaging with visitors to answer any questions about the company's roadmap to sustainability.
Pilkington Mirai™ can be offered as a low carbon alternative to regular float glass, with no difference in performance, quality, or aesthetic appearance. It’s been pioneered using a combination of alternative fuel, high recycled glass content, and green electricity sources.
The name Mirai, meaning 'future' in Japanese, was chosen to mark the start of the next generation of low carbon glass products.
