Pilkington OptiView™ Protect - overview. Pilkington OptiView™ Protect is a laminated glass with anti-reflective coatings on surfaces #1 and #4 (both outer surfaces of the laminated glass), which reduces interior and exterior visible light reflectance to under 2%.

Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW provides a fundamental function: it reduces the percentage of light reflection of the glass to only 2%, ensuring a perfect view from any angle or direction as interference from the sun is kept to a minimum.

Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW is an on-line coated, laminated, extra clear, anti-reflective glass based on a Pilkington Optiwhite™ low-iron substrate. Its anti-reflective pyrolytic coating offers high durability and the surface treatment requires little attention in both processing and maintenance of the glass once installed.

Chosen due to its anti-reflective qualities, Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW consists of two sheets of extra-clear glass with low iron content and high light transmission (more than 90 per cent), on which a special durable coating is applied, able to reduce visible light reflectance to less than 2 per cent.

Laminated Pilkington OptiView™ Ultra Protect blocks almost 100% of UV and reduces infrared radiation. Easily fabricated. Bendable. Laminated version offers safety and security.
