Pilkington Optimirror™
Pilkington Optimirror™ is a decorative mirror glass designed for internal applications where reflection quality, appearance and durability are important. It is manufactured without the copper and lead used in the conventional silvering process and is produced to EN 1036.
The product incorporates protection of the reflective silver layer to help improve resistance to natural atmospheric corrosion and to reduce visible edge deterioration and spot faults often associated with conventional mirrors. This makes it suitable for projects that require a high-quality mirrored finish across a range of commercial and residential interiors.
Pilkington Optimirror™ is available on clear glass, with a bronze-tinted option also referenced within the range, while the wider Optimirror™ family also includes low-iron and safety-backed variants for more specialised requirements.
