Pilkington Planar™ provides The Catalyst Museum with ‘high-performance’ glass. 05 Dec 2013. Thanks to a £40,000 grant from the Foyle Foundation and a £38,000 Biffa Award, The Catalyst Museum in Widnes was able to replace all the glass in its fourth floor observatory with Pilkington Planar™.

23 Jul 2019. Pilkington United Kingdom Ltd, part of the NSG Group, has invested more than £3 million in new technology to increase its capacity to manufacture Pilkington Planar™, and meet growing market demand for its internationally sold structural glazing system.

The storefront makes use of Pilkington Planar™ structural glazing, a frameless system that uses countersunk stainless-steel bolts which sit flush with the external surface of the glass. This minimises their appearance without compromising the integrity of the system.
