The National Landlords Association (NLA) has released a survey which suggests that two-thirds of private landlords would consider taking advantage of the Government’s Green Deal scheme to improve energy efficiency in their properties.
24 per cent of landlords surveyed would definitely take advantage of the Green Deal, while a further 38 per cent would consider it. 21 per cent are unsure about the Deal and 17 per cent say it has no appeal.

The survey suggests that landlords might be more eager to take up the Green Deal than originally thought. However the Government is looking to ensure that landlords are obliged to deliver under the Green Deal, introducing regulations to ensure that all landlords will face minimum energy efficiency standards under the legislation.
