Continued growth for The Glazing Ombudsman

The Glazing Ombudsman (TGO) is now in its third year of operation and, according to its latest press release, continues to attract new members and provide an independent service for consumer complaints.

The purpose of TGO is to provide a binding result to a dispute between a consumer and a registered business without the costly involvement of the legal system.  The scope of its coverage is all aspects of both new and replacement glazing installations including conservatories, orangeries and porches, as well as associated roofline products such as cladding and soffits.

Formally recognised as an Ombudsman member by the British and Irish Ombudsman Association (BIOA), TGO claims to provide redress which means that its awards are intended to put consumers back into the position they were before the event leading to the dispute occurred.
