Pilkington Automotive Queenborough
Classic Windscreens from an Original Source
Pilkington Automotive offers short run production of classic windscreens and special parts from its factory in Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. In many cases, the original classic cars were built with glass from a Pilkington company eg Triplex, Sigla, Bilglas, SIV brands, and we can still supply with the original trademark.
The range consists of over 2000 parts including, AC Ace, 1953/63, Mercedes 220 1961/71, Aston Martin DB 4 1958/65 and MG's to name a few. The specialist factory is certified according to BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 ensuring that all legal requirements are met.
Classic fit, Classic Style
The Queenborough factory has made classic windscreens for the aftermarket since the late 1950s, and still retains the vast majority of the tooling produced ’’in-house’’.
Many owners of classic cars have turned to the Queenborough facility when searching for that rare windscreen.
We can work from CAD data but if the tooling is not available then it is sometimes possible to adapt, rebuild, or produce new tooling if required.
