AGR opens new distribution center

10 July 2007
Pilkington AGR North America has opened a new distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix is Arizona's capital and the fifth-largest city in the United States.

The new distribution center and accessory warehouse will serve our western AGR service centers, as well as a large number of customers in the western United States, Canada and Mexico. The location made its first shipment on June 13, 2007.

This facility also has a service center under its roof.  The service center will cover a growing AGR market as it moves west from the downtown Phoenix area.  AGR North America has 125 service centers and the two distribution centers to service their automotive aftermarket customers in the US, Canada and Mexico.

“Thanks to the contribution of the Columbus distribution center staff, the opening went very well, said Rudy Okkerse, Phoenix Distribution Center (DC) project manager.
