New Senior Management Structure Announced
27 September 2007NSG Group has announced the appointments of Katsuji Fujimoto as President and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Stuart Chambers as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). Both appointments take effect from 1st October 2007.

As President and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Katsuji Fujimoto will have responsibility for monitoring the profitable operation and development of the Group. In this capacity, he will report to the Chairman of the NSG Group, Yozo Izuhara, who continues to lead the Board of NSG Group.
In the role of Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) Stuart Chambers will be responsible for managing the operations of the Group. He will report to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
The Group Vice Chairman, Tomoaki Abe will continue to report to the Chairman. The other Managing Officers of NSG; Masakuni Nitta, Hiroyoshi Koshiba, Pat Zito, Mike Powell, Takeshi Horiguchi and Takashi Murakami will report to Stuart Chambers as Group Chief Operating Officer.
NSG Chairman Yozo Izuhara said “The integration of the global Flat Glass business, covering all of the Group’s Building Products and Automotive operations is making excellent progress. Now, the Group’s Specialty Glass business, comprising the Information Technology and Glass Fiber businesses will be integrated into the global organization. To advance the processes of integration and globalization, we have created the new management positions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Group Chief Operating Officer (COO).
These appointments will ensure that we leverage all available expertise and experience in the management of a truly international company. The changes are intended to strengthen further the senior management structure of the NSG Group to enable us to achieve the objectives of the Group’s Vision and Medium-Term Plan”.
