Line on safety
24 October 2007A clear, simple safety message is being sent out every day, in every Group language, to every Flat Glass Business employee around the world.
The messages - a different one every day, Monday to Friday - are posted in English on the Group Intranet Home Page as well as being delivered in the local language to employees on-site."The intention is that every one of our employees will get the same message every day," said Group EHS director Allen Norris.
"The message selection will reflect progress in safety initiatives, recent incident history and other significant events. Individual sites or business lines can request messages to reflect a certain theme by contacting Group EHS."
The initiative was launched at the beginning of October and is planned to continue long-term.
