Analysts visit Sandomierz
17 April 2008A group of Tokyo-based financial analysts from leading Japanese institutions paid a flying visit to Sandomierz in April. The visit was designed to demonstrate progress in a developing market with major potential.
The visitors, who included representatives of leading Japanese institutions and shareholders, were briefed by Stuart Chambers and Mike Powell on progress on Group integration and strategy and on the history of the Group’s investment in Poland, which started in 1992.
Poland country manager Ireneusz Skwarek and Ryszard Jania covered Building Products operations in Poland and the East Region and the role of the Sandomierz plant in the global Automotive business. The programme included an extensive tour of the plant, taking in Float and Automotive operations.
NSG Group Investor Relations Manager Kazumitsu Fujii, who accompanied the party, said “The analysts play a very important role in informing the market in Japan, so it is crucial for them to see for themselves what is happening on the ground. The journey from Tokyo to Sandomierz is not easy, but it was clear they all found the trip well worthwhile”.
