Super self-clean solution
19 June 2008Building Products in France has joined forces with other specialist construction materials manufacturers to offer a complete self-cleaning façade solution to the building industry.
OCEAN - Offre Collective pour l'Enveloppe AutoNettoyante - partners Pilkington Activ™ with Agrob Buchtal tiles, Ciments Calcia cement, Schuco Powclean-painted aluminium frames and Sto surface finishes, all of them featuring a self-cleaning performance.An OCEAN brochure and press release have been produced and the partnership plans a group presence at trade exhibitions and events.
"We have had considerable press coverage and there has been a lot of interest from architects," said commercial director Philippe Lisse. "We are already working on our first OCEAN project, which will be a public swimming pool complex near Paris.
"I believe this is an initiative which could work throughout Building Products Europe. Our partners all have a commercial presence across Europe and a number of our Group colleagues in other countries have expressed an interest."
