New MD for BP South East Asia
08 April 2008Derek Kearsley, formerly Director of European New Business, has been appointed Managing Director, Building Products South East Asia, succeeding Tak Kawasaki who will be retiring at the AGM in June.
Derek's appointment took effect from April 1 and in his new role he will report directly to Mark Lyons, President, Building Products Worldwide and be based in Kuala Lumpur.
His role covers management of the Group's Building Products activities in Malaysia, Vietnam and India.
