San Salvo celebrates

The presentation of the Ford Q1 Quality Standard plaque to San Salvo took place in October.

The standard measures quality and delivery performance and all suppliers are expected to attain it after they have worked with Ford for a certain length of time. If it is not attained, Ford may seek an alternative supplier.
The San Salvo achievement was first announced earlier in the year, in recognition of work on the new Ford Galaxy, S-Max and Mondeo models. The plant is currently working on development of the backlight and windshield for the new Ford Fiesta.
