Mexicali makes for Honda
20 March 2008The Group's Mexicali plant has successfully passed a quality audit for Honda, for production of windscreens for the new 8CRV model.
The plant makes principally for the AGR market and it is only the second time in its history that it has undergone such an audit for OE manufacture."Honda is making the cars in Guadalajara for export to Brazil and Argentina and required a local supplier," said quality systems engineer Ana Leon. "We are delighted to have succeeded in the audit."
Mexicali will be supplying 8,000 parts per year.
