AGR opens in Mexico
12 October 2008More than 200 people attended the grand opening of a new AGR service center in Monterrey, Mexico, which saw eight accessory and tool vendors lending their support to the event.
"This new location was opened to create a presence in the northeast of the country," said Eduaro Alejandre, general manager for Mexico. "We had long delivery times and high delivery costs when shipping from the other locations, and that made it difficult to provide a high level of customer satisfaction to this area."The services offered from the new location include weekly routes for those customers that are within an eight hour round trip and ship-outs to those customers that are further away.
With the addition of Monterrey, AGR now has six service centres and two satelites in Mexico. This puts Pilkington Automotive in an excellent position on a national level to support customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.
