Advanced training for Austrian AGR customers

Pilkington has launched an advanced training programme for AGR customers in Austria.
The three-part programme is being held at the technical college in Graz-St Peter and will cover all aspects of automotive glass development, product range, fitting skills and customer handling techniques.


The training is being offered first to AGR's 49 Team Partners in Austria and Yugoslavia but will eventually be open to other independent customers.
The first class of 12 Team Partners has already passed the first two-day module. They will move on to the second and third parts of the programme later this year and in early 2008.
"The initial feedback has been very positive indeed," said Austria AGR sales and marketing director Christian Klug, who initiated the project with Börje Örthagen, sales and marketing director for Aftermarket Operations Europe. "We have not had one adverse comment."
The training was launched to help customers cope with the increasingly complex range of glasses coming onto the market. "This is part of our mission to offer the best possible service to our customers," said Christian.
