Whether or not you return to work after maternity leave, you will remain a member of the Pilkington Superannuation Scheme during maternity leave. You do not pay contributions during the leave.

Your pension will be calculated as though your membership of the Scheme ended on the day your Statutory Maternity Pay finished.

During maternity leave you will be entitled to the same benefits as if you had been working normally. For instance, you will still be covered for benefits On Death based on your normal salary at the start of your maternity leave.
