Pilkington Exhibits Great Attention to Detail
Pilkington Processing and Merchanting UK will be exhibiting at the first ever 100% Detail exhibition from 25th to 27th September 2003.

As part of its commitment to greater customer contact, Pilkington Processing and Merchanting UK will be exhibiting at the first ever 100% Detail exhibition from 25th to 27th September 2003. The show is a supplement to the successful 100% Design show which debuted in 2002 targeting interior designers. 100% Detail extends design to the building envelope with over 3000 architects expected to attend.
The Pilkington stand, number E40, is constructed and designed as a technical advisory centre displaying a range of glass and glazing products and systems, including Pilkington's most recent innovations. Expert staff will be available to advise architects and designers on a full range of glass related issues from glass design to building regulations.
In addition, the company will be presenting its popular seminar, Glass for Fire Resistance at 10.20am on Friday 26th September and offering the latest version of the self-learning version of this popular course on CD-ROM.
Joining Pilkington on the stand is T&W Ide Ltd demonstrating its new Firesecur AP fire-resistant glazed screen and load bearing integrity and insulation fire-resistant floor both featuring Pilkington Pyrostop™. Also Lorient Polyproducts Ltd is launching its innovative complete solution for glazing FD30 doors incorporating Pilkington Pyrodur™ Plus or Pilkington Pyroshield™.
Pilkington is also highlighting its latest specialised glass and glazing including Pilkington Activ™ and Pilkington Optilam™ Phon noise reduction glass. Pilkington Activ™ is the world's first dual action self-cleaning glass, breaking down deposits of organic dirt and allowing the rain to wash them away. Pilkington Optilam™ Phon offers excellent noise reduction and is particularly effective against traffic noise and can be incorporated into Pilkington's own insulating unit, Pilkington Insulight™ Phon.
"We are very excited about attending this year's exhibition and meeting the architectural fraternity of our customer base," comments Matt Buckley, Pilkington Processing and Merchanting head of sales and marketing. "This is an ideal opportunity in a convenient location to demonstrate the value and service that Pilkington offers to the architectural glazing market."
