Anyone for Zenith?

26 January 2009
Pilkington energiKare™, the UK’s leading energy efficient glazing, has taken another stride forward in its quest to help householders prevent heat loss through their windows, following its partnership with Zenith Windows. Established in 1969, Zenith now has sales of more than 50,000 windows and doors every year and will sell Pilkington energiKare™ as standard. The company will benefit from increased public awareness of Pilkington energiKare™ through Pilkington’s consumer marketing efforts, as well as the sales and marketing support given to all Partners as standard.

Peter Gray, Operations Director, Zenith, said: “We have a proud history in the window market and over the years we have diversified to offer our customers a wider range of home improvements. However windows and doors remain central to Zenith’s business and the partnership with Pilkington energiKare™ demonstrates our commitment to providing homeowners with the highest quality glazing products.”

Andy McDowell, National Business Development Manager UK, Pilkington, said: “This is the ideal partnership - Zenith has almost 40 years experience in the industry, and has supplied improvements for nearly half a million homes in that time. Together we can help more and more homeowners save money and energy with Pilkington energiKare™.”

When considering 10 per cent annual fuel cost inflation, an average three-bed semi-detached home upgrading from single-glazing to Pilkington energiKare™ would save approximately £170 per year, or around £10,000 over 20 years.
