Energy Bill clears House of Commons
19 September 2011The Energy Bill has cleared the House of Commons with cross-party support. The House of Lords will now consider the Commons' amendments to the Bill, likely to take place in October.
The Department for Energy and Climate Change still plans to launch the Green Deal consultation at the end of October, which will include an extensive engagement programme with stakeholders.
