Pilkington OptiView™ is a monolithic glass, with the anti-reflective coating on one surface, which reduces visible light reflectance and allows more visible light to pass through, when compared to clear float glass with 8% light reflectance as standard.

The Pilkington OptiView™ range, Pilkington Optiwhite™ and Pilkington Anti-condensation Glass are designed to provide improved vision and clarity in varying lighting and environmental conditions. Optimal transparency increases the aesthetics of glass products while improving their functionality.

Pilkington OptiView ™ Fusion is a double-sided AR, temperable glass. One side uses a pyrolytic coating with a sputter coating on the other side, allowing more design versatility.

Pilkington OptiView™ anti-reflective glass makes this possible. To meet all the requirements for zoo applications it is also available in increased thicknesses and can be processed into laminated safety glass without losing any transparency.

Completed as part of wider restoration works, the project has enabled the museum to exhibit twice the amount of visual material compared to previous displays, while providing an enhanced level of protection from both vandalism and ultraviolet rays.

Also new this year is Pilkington OptiView™ Fusion, which is a new double sided, anti-reflective coated glass with less than 1% reflection. It combines the benefits of both hard and soft coatings.
