The structures are supported by laminated glass, and are connected by Pilkington Planar™ 905 and 902 series stainless-steel fittings, a low-profile system that minimises interruption to sightlines or distraction from heritage architectural features.

The glass features a unique Planar™ l SentryGlas® interlayer by Kuraray to deliver stronger and lighter laminated glazing compared with traditional polyvinyl butyral (PVB)-based systems, giving greater strength to the system and enhancing safety.

The Pilkington Planar™ system was chosen to fasten to the support structure, thanks to its low-profile design. The stainless steel fittings use bolts that are countersunk into the glass to allow a flush exterior surface allowing maximum visual clarity, while ensuring the connections looked as seamless as possible.

This five-storey space is flooded with natural light thanks to a spectacular, uninterrupted 51-ft-tall wall of Pilkington Planar™ glazing positioned above the entrance. State of the art. The wall of glass is supported by laminated fins that are suspended from a steel truss structure at roof level.
