Pilkington Activ™ Becomes A Radio Star

Our Pilkington Activ™ television advertising may have finished but that’s not the last you’ll hear about our self-cleaning glass. We have two new advertising campaigns that will be launched in May, both aimed at the trade. Our first Pilkington Activ™ national radio campaign debuts on 12th May and will run for two weeks on talkSPORT MW 1053 & 1089. Airing between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and on Saturday mornings. We are raising awareness of the product amongst trade customers, particularly installers and sales people who are out and about during the day, plus male listeners who are ultimately influential in the decision making process of new window purchases.
But that’s not all. The trade press will feature our print adverts reminding existing and prospective customers about the range of Pilkington Activ™ products available. They start in May in Glass Times, Windows Active and Fenestra Journal. The adverts are a great way to highlight to customers the benefits of partnering with Pilkington. Not only do they supply a leading brand complete with first class technical expertise, but they can also benefit from a full and comprehensive marketing campaign for Pilkington Activ™.
The radio and trade press advertising are just two elements of the comprehensive marketing and sales support package we have lined up for 2008/09. We are also planning TV sponsorship, and will continue our web marketing as well as our comprehensive trade & consumer PR activity supported by TV coverage of the Saints.
