Glass Structure
The world’s leading structural glass system, Pilkington Planar™ opens up vast possibilities for architects, allowing them to create a complete glass envelope for buildings with frameless façades on any plane.
Support structures, located internally or externally, can use glass mullions, a conventional steel construction or the revolutionary Pilkington Planar™ Tension Structure design, to be as subtle or dominant as appropriate.
Please note that while Pilkington Planar™ can incorporate most Pilkington glass types – which now includes the Pilkington Suncool™ range of solar control glass – it should always be fitted as a complete system and is only available from our approved network of suppliers.
