Structural glass façades depend on the quality of the glass for their performance and aesthetic appearance. To ensure the highest quality possible, all glass supplied for Pilkington Planar™ systems is made by Pilkington.

The exterior glass used in all Pilkington Planar™ systems is normally 10,12,15 or 19 mm thick Pilkington Optifloat™ heat soaked toughened glass. We will supply only Pilkington heat soak toughened glass for the toughened glass components of Pilkington Planar™ structural applications.

Pilkington's expertise in glass manufacture means that the company is also able to provide the customer with an extensive range of glass types for total flexibility of design - in performance, appearance and transparency. This allows the customer to meet all requirements, functional or aesthetic.
